Why 406 Photo Lens?

Hello, everyone! My name is Katelin, and I am the photographer behind 406 Photo Lens. I am located in Philipsburg, Montana. With over six years of experience in portrait photography, I have a deep passion for capturing genuine moments—smiles, laughter, and everything in between. My journey with photography began in high school, where I first explored it as an extracurricular activity, and it has since become an integral part of my life.

Beyond photography, I am also a dedicated 6th-grade teacher, and I have a love for the great outdoors, especially the mountains and fly fishing. I believe that everyone deserves to have their story told through timeless, beautiful images, and my goal is to create memories that you can cherish for a lifetime.

I also have a deep appreciation for the wonders of the universe—aliens, space, and dinosaurs have always fascinated me. When I'm not behind the camera or in the classroom, you'll often find me immersed in a good book, always eager to learn and explore new perspectives, both real and imagined
